The Frogmore
The Frogmore is surrounded by trees and salal with a view to the ocean. In spring it is sereneded by happy singing frogs. It is pole construction, using salvaged wood beachcombed and milled. The Frogmore easily sleeps six—with a queen sized loft, a double bed and a folding couch that also converts to a comfortabe double. It heats with a wood stove, firewood provided. The kitchen is complete with a two- burner propane stove with oven. The house is off-grid with solar lights and battery operated lanterns. It is plumbed with running water off the roof into a stainless steel sink. Drinking water is supplied along with pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, towels, linens. The private front covered porch has oceanview and a BBQ. The porch is beam construction with a built-in shower stall. The sunny back porch overlooks virgin forest. The outhouse is simply classy.
