THE RAVENSHOE
The Ravenshoe sits on the beach with stupendous views. It's homey enough for two and large enough for six or more. The interior of the Ravenshoe is made from magnificent wide cedar and spruce boards, which were beachcombed and locally milled. A ship's ladder leads to the second floor.
Sleep to the sound of the ocean beneath a cedar beamed ceiling, or gaze out the skylight. Dine on a granite countertop or roast weiners by a beach fire. It is off-grid, with solar powered lights, lanterns, BBQ, propane stove, and a stainless steel sink with cold running water. Drinking water is supplied as well as linens, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery. The Ravenshoe is heated with a glass fronted woodstove. Firewood and a splitting maul are there for your use. It's a perfect getaway with ocean surf, and a sandy beach longer than the eye can see. Guests love the no-smell composting toilet which is easily accessible through the covered back porch which also contains an enclosed solar shower.

$145 per day (up to two people).
